The Rev. Canon Lance Beizer ’56 Gives Back with Life-Income Gifts

In 2014 I was looking for a way to give something substantial to Hotchkiss, which I was only able to attend because I was given a full scholarship. At the same time, I wanted to ensure sufficient income for my wife, Ann, for the rest of her life.

After a discussion with the development folks, I decided to create a life-income gift. When Ann passed away last year, even after 10 years of annual payments to her, Hotchkiss actually received a larger gift than I had originally contributed.

I am now planning one more such gift to supplement my income for the rest of my days and then to provide one last significant gift to Hotchkiss.
